Bernie is excited by the newsreels but Steve is saddened. They leave the movie theater unaware that someone is watching them. That someone follows them home to the building where they live

Act 1

Ryuta Seki is a race car driver but has yet to hit it big he works as a mechanic but doesn’t make much. He is married to Naoko. They have a daughter together, Mina. He is 25 and she is 23. Mina is 6 and she has asthma.

Naoko is the responsible one. She has a job and she cooks, cleans, and takes care of their daughter. Naoko was very impressed with Ryuta’s driving skills when they first met. Now she is disgusted by him and has started to think of divorce.

The Scarecrow is on the loose, terrorizing New York City.

Captain America confronts the Coalition for an Upstanding America. He doesn’t like them using his image on their posters without his permission. He demands that they take them down. Steve Rogers goes to see Arthur Bennett of Bennett Advertising. He stopped working for Bennett back in Captain America (1968) 275 after he heard Bennett using racial slurs. He returned because Bennett is the one doing the advertising campaign for the Coalition for an Upstanding America.

Episode 7: The Last Lesson

Act 3

Tamura threatens Yoneda’s mother with a knife. He says she is to blame for the way her son turned out. Children can do no wrong. He keeps repeating that mantra.

Yoneda shows up but Tamura doesn’t attack him. Yoneda knocks his former teacher down and screams at him. He challenges Tamura’s mantra. Something gets through to Tamura. He slaps Yoneda, punishes him for ruining his life. Yoneda was already in tears. Tamura is arrested and dies the next morning in jail.

The Masters of Disaster take Black Lightning to an abandoned oil rig. It is there that they plan to execute him. Marcia Shelton, their client, confronts the man (Black Lightning) who killed her daughter. She starts to have second thoughts about what she paid the Masters of Disaster to do.

Fujimoto spots Dr. Kubo after leaving Tamura’s apartment. She is in a car with a man. She is touching his hair in an intimate way. She doesn’t see him but Fujimoto feels embarrassed about seeing her.

Enter: The Masters of Disaster!

The Masters of Disaster have been hired to kill Black Lightning. They start by harassing Morgan Jones, the local crime boss. He doesn’t have much to give them on Black Lightning. They capture Black Lightning without Jones’ help by threatening a bunch of civilians. Batman and the Outsiders come to the rescue but the Masters of Disaster are are a little too much for them. Black Lightning willingly surrenders rather than see the civilians harmed.

Act 1

Soichi Tamura teaches at a middle school. It’s a pretty rough school. He gets on the nerves of Mitsuru Yoneda, one of the students in his class. Yoneda frames him, makes it look like he’s been spying on the girl’s locker room. He steals Tamura’s phone and takes pictures of one of the girls.
