Jack Staff

I had seen Jack Staff comic books or collected editions here and there. I was always curious about the character because he looked very much like Union Jack from Marvel Comics. It wasn't until 2014 that I finally bought one of the collected editions. A few years later I gave it a read and was very impressed.

Jack Staff was written and drawn by Paul Grist. He self-published the first twelve issue series under the imprint of Dancing Elephant Press. The original run of Jack Staff was later collected in a single volume by Image Comics. That series was in black and white. There were subsequent Jack Staff comics that were published by Image Comics which were in color.

I decided, after reading Soldiers, to go back and read Kane, which Paul Grist wrote, drew, and self-published prior to Jack Staff. My plan is to get back to Jack Staff after I finish reading Kane.
