Plastic Man asks Batman to help him track down Luke McDunnagh, a boy who has, despite being only 10 years old, joined a gang of criminals. The two superheroes begin their search with a visit to Angel McDunnagh, the boy’s mother. Batman quickly figures out that Plastic Man is the boy’s father.

Plas is too chicken to confront his son so Batman does the job for him. Plastic Man tags along with the Dark Knight, disguised as a piece of Batman’s uniform.

Point Blank!

Hawkeye practices archery on a makeshift target in an abandoned subway tunnel and thinks about the past 24 hours, until he collapses from exhaustion. A street gang finds him and try to rob him. He fights back, beats them up (despite being outnumbered and very tired), and then takes off on his sky sled. 

Hawkeye returns home only to find his apartment cleaned out. Mockingbird is on the roof of his building. He accepts her offer of assistance and they head back to her place. She tells him a little about her past and then runs out to buy some supplies while he gets some sleep.

Wonder Woman goes on a quest to find the Moira, the three goddesses of destiny (Clotho, Lachesis, Atropos). It is her hope that they can repair the Golden Perfect or possibly tell her what to do to effect the repair. The other members of JLA don’t know it at first but her quest affects them all, the whole Earth, and all of reality.

The others (Superman, Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern, Plastic Man, Flash, the Atom) fight to save people, hold things together while Wonder Woman is gone. Even Rama Khan becomes aware of the threat to the world. It all goes back to the moment when Diana used the Lasso to compel Rama Khan to tell the truth and two conflicting truths were revealed to exist.

Jesús arrived in the United States by swimming across the border, when he was young, with his parents. He grew up and eventually followed in his father’s footsteps and worked in a slaughterhouse because without the proper documentation he couldn’t get any other job.

He is very good at his job but he seems to sleepwalk through his days. He gets married. He and his wife have a daughter. His supervisor sends him to see the staff psychologist. She asks him lots of questions but in the end she thinks it is safe to send him back to work.

El Águila breaks into Cross Technological Enterprises (CTE) but Hawkeye spots him coming a mile away. The two fight. Hawkeye wins and is ready to turn him over to the police but Ambrose Connors, Hawkeye’s boss at CTE, insists on showing Hawkeye what it is that El Águila was looking to steal. El Águila sees an opportunity and uses it to overpower Hawkeye and Connors and destroy the device.

The surprise guest turns out to be the KGB. Wallace and Karpin are about to get arrested when Don Weldon shows up, mows down a couple of KGB agents with his car, and escapes with Wallace and Crocker. Weldon has to drop them off somewhere else in Prague, along the river, and return the car which is in Barclay’s name.

The KGB questions Barclay and Weldon, the latter of whom buys Wallace and Karpin some time by lying. Wallace and Karpin make it to the Austrian border. Wallace makes it home safely but Karpin is shot and killed while trying to crawl through the fence.
