Nothing Can Stop the Juggernaut!
by Roger Stern, John Romita Jr., Jim Mooney, Joe Rosen, Glynis Wein, Tom DeFalco

Black Tom Cassidy and the Juggernaut target Madame Web. She gets a premonition that something is coming for her and reaches out to Spider-Man for help. Spider-Man tries his best to prevent the Juggernaut from reaching her.

A brief portion of this story takes place at the Daily Bugle. The Juggernaut is a little too single minded (stay on target!) to swing by the offices of the Daily Bugle but Peter spends some time there, shooting the breeze with Glory Grant and running in to Betty Brant. He has to high tail it out of there when he gets a call from Madame Web.

The Epiphany
by Howard Chaykin, Ken Bruzenak, Steve Oliff

Cosmo Jacobi dies by what at first glance seems to be suicide. Maxim Glory, Jacobi’s friend, returns to town for the first time in years to deal with the aftermath of his friend’s death. Shalimar, Jacobi’s widow, seems oddly unmoved by what happened. There’s a cab driver who attacks numerous fembots with a screwdriver. The police close the Jacobi case fairly quickly but reporter Pansy Matthias seeks to discover the truth. She and Glory used to be lovers but it’s been years since she’s seen him. Pansy still harbors some resentment towards Maxim for the way he dropped out of her life as suddenly as he did, five years before.
