Full House -- Dragons High!
By Peter Gillis, Frank Miller, Bob McLeod
The Thing teams up with Nick Fury, the Beast, Ms. Marvel, and Wonder Man to play poker and fight the forces of General Pollock. The poker game, which takes place at Avengers Mansion, is interrupted by news of a break-in at SHIELD Arsenal 6. General Pollock’s men break into the SHIELD Arsenal and steal the Yellow Claw’s Sky Dragon.
The superheroes miss the fight at Arsenal 6 but arrive in time to help defend the SHIELD Helicarrier which is under attack by the stolen Sky Dragon. General Pollock’s goal is to steal the Yellow Claw’s Ultimate Annihilator. The superheroes stop him but they are too tired (with the exception of Wonder Man) to resume their poker game.
Thoughts
I wasn’t too crazy about this one. The bad guys seemed very generic. There were no good character moments. It was a fast read but it didn’t really feel like it was worth my time.
