Agent Carnicki’s fishing trip is interrupted by Ava Destruction. She’s looking for someone and suspects that he might know where to find them. 

Zack comes to the realization that Farmer isn’t going to give up on the blackmail. Zack starts to fantasize about ways to kill Farmer. 

Firethunder and Ajax, two of Zack’s former associates, come after him. They use some tech provided by Doctor Lester to find him. It is just supposed to be a surveillance mission but they decide to engage the target. It doesn’t end well for them.

Zack’s other problem, Farmer, is resolved when his coworker is killed during the fight with Firethunder and Ajax. The fight takes place at a shopping mall. Zack does his best to conceal his identity but figures there’s a good chance that his cover has been blown. 

Zack gets home after the fight only to discover someone waiting for him, Zoe Zeppelin. She is not happy and slugs him.

Thoughts

I’m not sure which side Zoe Zeppelin is on but based on what she says when she sees him I’m guessing that she isn’t with Black Death, the criminal organization that used to employ Zack. She must be part of the Special Operations Service (SOS) and probably related to Professor Zeppelin.

What’s the deal with Ava Destruction? She the on the cover to this issue and appeared briefly in the previous issue. She seems like she’s with the Black Death but also a bit of a loose cannon. According to Doctor Lester she was sexually involved with Zack’s brother.

Is Carnicki dead? Probably.

I think the fun is just beginning for Zack.
