DeGuerre and Nebular interrupt PI and Raveena's visit to Nebular's home. DeGuerre starts shooting but PI and Raveena escape on a stolen motor scooter with the shotgun they took from Nebular's place. In the chase that follows shots are fired in both directions but PI is the only one to hit his target.

The visuals in this part of the chapter are spectacular. There are a couple full page splashes that are stunning and masterpieces of visual storytelling. One shows things at different sizes that aren't all happening at once, similar to the full pager a couple chapters back when PI and Raveena were chasing that guy who mistook Raveena for Taj.

The chapter opens with four pages which reveal how Melanie met PI. This scene goes through a neat progression as it starts with a splash page and on the third page has alternating panels of Melanie and PI. It is raining. He is on a stakeout. She's never met him before but she sizes him up pretty quickly. She is in silhouette in her panels, he is not in his panels.

The one pager where it looks like DeGuerre has shot Raveena in the head is one of those that I love. He is shooting, she gets shot in the head, Nebular is shown reacting, plus there's a sound effect. All so good the way the images are drawn, arranged,and colored.

The other one-pager shows PI and Raveena speeding away on a stolen motorcycle just as DeGuerre and Nebular emerge from the back door of Nebular's place. There's a real sense of excitement, energy, and motion in this one. It really stunned me the first time I looked at it.

Throughout the chapter there are little looks at what is going on with Melanie and her captor. He takes her from the hospital back to DeGuerre's lair where the missile is stored. It isn't clear what sort of valuable data information she could  provide but he seems to think she knows something important.

PI and Raveena turn to his grandfather for help with the iPad they took from Nebular's place. They get interrupted by the press who come knocking on gramps' door. That's where the chapter ends.

With just three chapters to go I'm totally loving this story.
