The Secret Origin of Jessica Jones (Part 2 of 2)
by Brian Michael Bendis, Michael Gaydos
Jessica gets pushed around at school by classmates who make fun of her for being in a coma, including Flash Thompson. She has an unfortunate encounter with Peter Parker who tries to empathize with her but she misunderstands his intentions. She thinks he is picking on her like their other classmates.
She accidentally discovers she has superpowers. She is running down the street in tears and accidentally jumps high into the sky and lands in a river. After flopping around in the water for a minute or two she’s rescued by Thor. Jessica decides to test her powers and accidentally stops a crime in progress. She lands on the Scorpion who is robbing the customers of a laundromat.
All good but I’m still not crazy about the art. I don’t hate it. I just want more than I am getting from it.
