Cold Iron Hot Blood!

Cat cares for and trains Illyana. They encounter S’ym but they escape the purple demon into a section of Limbo that resembles the Savage Land. Cat kills a two headed saber tooth tiger. They eat the beast and Cat makes Illyana some new clothes out of its hide.
They arrive at Belasco’s mountain citadel. Illyana and Cat fight Nightcrawler. Cat tries to return Illyana to her home dimension but they fall into a trap set by Belasco. He transforms Cat into a more animal like beast and makes Illyana draw her own blood in order to make the second of the five bloodstones. Storm witnesses all that happens from a distance, frustrated that she can’t do anything.
Once again it is fairly easy to sum up an installment of this story. I may be missing something but it feels as though this story is lacking in depth.
I just noticed that among the faces of demons in the shadows on the cover is one that looks like an ordinary human man. I don’t recognize the face but my guess is that it is either the artist or a friend of his.
Illyana remarks at one point that she has aged about 3 years since she got stuck in Limbo. It didn’t feel like that much time had passed. My read of it is that she spent most of those years with Cat.
I’m not crazy about this story. It is very wordy. I’m going to stick with it but I’m not expecting much from it.
